Summary and Conclusion
My hypothesis was to test whether or not people liked Whittakers more than Cadbury chocolate. I did a taste test with my class mates. Then I found out the key ingredients of each chocolate.
In the taste test Whittakers was more popular and Cadbury turned out to have the most sugar and least cocoa. Whittakers had more fat and cocoa. My results proved my hypothesis wrong when I thought people would like Cadbury more.
The results of my test suggested that the majority of people liked Whittakers. However, I think the results may not be all that reliable as some of the people knew which chocolate was which before they tasted it. If I was to do this test again I would make sure it was a blind test in which no one would know which chocolate they tasted.
· My hypothesis was incorrect and most people would have chosen Whittakers before tasting the chocolate.
· Most people didn’t actually like Cadbury before so this helped Whittakers win the taste testing competition.
· Although Cadbury had less fat Whittakers had less sugar and more cocoa.
· Both brands were fair-trade.
